Are all the artworks hand-painted?

Certainly! Each and every artwork we offer is meticulously hand-painted. When you place an order with us, you are not only supporting the talented artists but also the skilled framers involved in the process. This is why it takes time for our artists to complete their work after receiving your payment. Please keep in mind that due to the handcrafted nature of each painting, there may be slight variations in color.

Can I make some changes to the painting?

Yes absolutely!

We create each painting upon receiving an order, allowing us the flexibility to customize the colors according to your preferences in collaboration with the artist. All we require are clear instructions and specific details regarding the desired modifications to the painting.

Is it possible to make a request for a custom size or color for the painting?

Yes absolutely!

What is the process for ordering art on Bergen Creative?

All artworks available for purchase on Bergen Creative are customized to order. When you place an order with us, our artist will immediately begin working on fulfilling your request. It typically takes around 5 working days for the artist to complete your piece. Once finished, you will receive a preview photo and video for your approval. If you are satisfied, we can proceed to frame it (if framing is desired) or ship it to you promptly. The entire production timeline ranges from 2 to 4 weeks.

If, upon receiving the preview clip, you find the art unsatisfactory, you can always request adjustments or even ask the artist to redo it.

Is it possible for the color to appear exactly like the photo online?

We will try our best, but not 100% precisely.

Please understand that the artwork is 100% hand-painted and original. Various factors can affect the color you perceive in the preview photo and video, such as the lighting environment, the monitor or device you are using, and the photography process.

Therefore, our team will make every effort to display the color as accurately as possible. If adjustments are necessary, we can always modify the color for you.

Is it possible to preview the artwork before it is shipped?

Certainly! We value your satisfaction and offer the opportunity for you to preview the artwork before it is sent out. Once the artwork is completed, we will provide you with a photo and a video for your confirmation.

Can I request the artist not to sign the artwork?

Well, we don't like this idea, but of course, you can.

We have a great deal of respect for our artists, which is why we give credits back to the artist who creates the artwork. Unless otherwise requested, every artwork sold by Bergen Creative is signed by the artist, ensuring that you are collecting an authentic piece of art.

This signature will not only contribute to the future value of the artwork but also provide provenance and context regarding your acquisition of the piece.

Frame and Materials

What framing option is available?

We provide multiple options for displaying the artwork you purchase from our site, including rolled canvas, stretched canvas, and framed options. The inner stretching frames are crafted from sustainably sourced wood.

When it comes to frames, we offer a variety of colors to choose from, including black, white, golden, and wood (walnut). Our canvas float frames are designed with convenience in mind. They come equipped with all the necessary accessories and suspension hardware, along with reserved holes on the back of the frame. The canvas float frames have a depth of approximately 1.37" (35mm) on the inside and outside. They securely stretch the canvas on a 1" deep stretcher bar and come with hooks for easy hanging. 

Simply hang the framed artwork on your wall, and it's ready to be admired. We currently offer four standard frame colors: black, white, wood, and golden. If you have a specific request regarding the frame color, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to find the perfect match for your desired look.

For those who require easy transportation, especially for long distances or overseas, many people opt for rolled canvases. A rolled canvas refers to the canvas without the floating frame. It is delivered in a rolled form, ready to be framed according to your preferences.

Are there any mounting and laminating option?

At this moment, no, sorry! The works are framed flush with the edge of your art without a mat. However, you can certainly request border modifications and spacers, which will keep the work from touching the glass or mat if you choose to mount and laminate your art in the future.

Can you tell me the size of the frame?

Standard floater frame is about ¼”(0.7 cm) to the width, 1.8” (4.5cm) to the frame depth, 0.94” (2.4cm) to the rabbet depth.

Stretched out canvas is about 0.8″ (2cm) to the depth.

What materials do you use for the frame and painting?

Our artist uses finely textured, artist-grade 400gsm cotton canvas. Additionally, we exclusively utilize vegan-friendly and non-toxic pigments in our paints, ensuring they contain no animal products. Furthermore, all inner frames are crafted from sustainably sourced wood.

How do you pack the artwork?

In contrast to inexperienced galleries, we take great care in shipping our artwork. We employ meticulous measures to ensure the safe delivery of our framed artworks. Each framed piece is carefully packed using custom-made museum-quality crates, bubble wrap, and sturdy boxes, providing maximum protection. This process guarantees that the framed artworks remain undamaged during shipping.

Returns

How does the refund and return work?

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Simply return the product to us undamaged within 30 days of the shipping date. Make a note in the package your full name and order number, and email tracking information to service@bergencreative.com. Once we receive the art and/or frame undamaged, we will issue a full refund.

I am not satisfied with the art. What can I do?

We dislike hearing such feedback because every purchase supports an artist. While buying art from us may be expensive, it's important to note that the price includes the commission for the artist, framer, and shippers. We strive to ensure that the artist receives their fair share of the commission. Therefore, it is disheartening to hear that customers wish to cancel their purchases, especially when they are unfamiliar with the artists and the workings of the art industry worldwide. However, we understand that such situations can arise.

You have a 30-day window after receiving the artwork to inform us if you wish to return it. Once the artwork has been returned to the artist, you will receive a refund. In the case of returns following a cancellation, it is your responsibility to properly package the artwork.

The artwork arrives damaged. What should I do?

If the artwork was damaged upon arrival, please reach out to us immediately. It would be helpful if you could provide photographs that accurately depict the current condition of the artwork. Together, we will assess the extent of the damage and determine the appropriate course of action.

Depending on the severity of the damage, we can either arrange for repairs to be made or facilitate a return for a refund. In the event of damage during delivery, Bergen Creative takes responsibility for covering the costs associated with repair and transportation.

Shipment & Delivery

When can I expect my order to arrive?

At Bergen Creative, all of our oil paintings are meticulously handmade, requiring dedicated time and effort from our artists. Typically, if no further adjustments are necessary, it takes approximately 7 to 14 days to complete your artwork. Subsequently, there are drying and framing processes that take another 3 days to complete.

Once the drying and framing process is finished, we will promptly ship the artwork from our warehouse. Our shipping partners enable worldwide delivery within five days to most destinations. In total, we strive to deliver your items within three weeks from the date of your order. For more intricate artwork orders, the maximum timeframe is four weeks.

Do you offer free shipping worldwide?

Yes! We offer free express delivery worldwide.

Framed paintings are shipped using UPS or DHL Express, while rolled canvas paintings are shipped via FedEx and UPS Express. Express shipping is free for all paintings. The prices already include shipping, framing and custom built wooden crates. The framed paintings are put in a museum-quality wooden crate designed with absolute maximum protection in mind.

Is the price inclusive of everything?

Yes. The prices already include shipping, import duties and sales tax.You do not need to pay extra. What you see is what you get. There are no hidden costs or fees. It’s all about excellent quality canvas art at great prices with zero fuss.

We pre-select to pay all shipping charges (and duties and taxes) when creating a shipment (on behalf of our customers/receivers of the goods), then the courier will outlay duties and taxes and charge it back to us (together with other customs-related charges, if applicable). This ensures no charges to receivers of goods.

Can I track the progress of my order?

Certainly! We ensure that you stay well-informed throughout the entire process. You will receive regular emails and updates, providing you with all the necessary information. This includes order confirmation and a tracking number for your convenience.
